K1NGZ, this has been coming for a long time now. We have a whole subculture of people who are famous for being famous. Used to be people became celebrities because they could do something entertaining - act, sing, dance, play a sport, etc. Now we have artificially created fame, celebrities totally devoid of ANY talent, who can do absolutely nothing entertaining whatsoever. I believe it started with Marla Maples, went through the various Hiltons and Kardashians, until we get to Snooki and her crew.

"Reality TV" is WAY cheaper than scripted programming. No actors, no writers, no rehearsals, just film a bunch of losers doing nothing and the losers at home eat it up.

His budget proposal calls for a 1.4 trillion deficit. The dems want to cut 600 billion over ten years, or 60 billion a year. That's a whopping .04 % cut. Even the republicans 100 billion proposal is only a .71 % cut. What is needed is a 10% cut just to start. Every one is going to get hurt. The first step would be to tax incomes over $500,000.00 at 50%. Then eliminate corporate loopholes and stipends, and tax all profits that are not paid in dividends at 50%. And tax all bonuses in excess of that person's annual salary at 90 %. Including stock options at market value. And freeze all spending; what isn't cut stays the same. What is cut can't go up the next year.

Now you have some savings. The dems say they are for the little people, but during the 4 years of their super majority, not one proposed a tax increase for the wealthy, or corporations. Not one.
